Please review the following terms governing your access to and use of GamutDesk. By accessing or using any instrument on our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
All palettes, CSS variables, and tokens you generate are yours to use freely in personal and commercial projects without royalties.
Conversions adhere strictly to ISO, CIE, W3C WCAG 2.1, and APCA scientific standards.
Visual output may vary depending on individual monitor gamuts (sRGB vs Display P3) and screen calibration.
1. Acceptance and Purpose
GamutDesk provides online color utility instruments for software engineers, digital artists, graphic designers, and accessibility auditors. By accessing our website, you agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
2. Intellectual Property and Generated Assets
Your Output Belongs to You: We claim no intellectual property rights, licenses, or ownership over any color hex codes, RGB values, CSS code blocks, JSON configurations, or color palettes generated through the use of our services. You are free to integrate these assets into commercial software, websites, design systems, and printed collateral without attribution.
Platform Code: The visual interface, branding, structural layouts, and compiled web source code of GamutDesk remain protected by intellectual property and copyright laws.
3. Disclaimer of Scientific and Hardware Warranties
The software and mathematical calculations are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While all mathematical equations are implemented according to rigorous CIE (International Commission on Illumination) and W3C specifications:
- Physical print output (CMYK ink density) will differ from digital screen emission due to paper absorption, ink gamuts, and printer profiles.
- Monitors with uncalibrated color gamuts (e.g. standard sRGB versus wide-gamut DCI-P3 or Adobe RGB) will render colors differently.
- Accessibility scores (WCAG AA/AAA) are calculated based on theoretical relative luminance and should be validated alongside real-world assistive technologies.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall GamutDesk, its developers, or maintainers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use this platform, including print manufacturing errors, design rebranding costs, or accessibility compliance fines.
5. Advertising & Third-Party Services
To provide all 50 color engineering instruments completely free of charge without subscriptions or usage limits, GamutDesk displays digital advertisements delivered by Google AdSense and authorized third-party ad networks. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for third-party products, services, or claims advertised within these units.
6. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
