GamutDesk is built upon a fundamental architectural commitment: all color computations, image decoding, and palette extractions run 100% in your local web browser. We do not operate processing servers or capture personal information.
Images and color inputs never leave your device. All calculations execute client-side via JavaScript and Web Workers.
Access every instrument anonymously without registration, passwords, payment details, or personal profiling.
Uploaded images are decoded into temporary browser memory and instantly garbage-collected when the tab closes.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Unlike conventional web services, GamutDesk does not maintain backend application servers or user databases for utility execution. Specifically:
- We do not collect names, email addresses, physical addresses, or phone numbers.
- We do not receive or store any image files, graphics, or SVGs you sample or extract palettes from.
- We do not track or log individual color codes or design tokens generated within our tools.
2. Local Storage and Client-Side State
We use standard web browser technologies such as localStorage solely to remember your selected preferences across visits (for instance, dark or light theme preference). This data remains strictly stored on your own device and is never transmitted to us.
3. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies
This website displays digital advertisements served by Google AdSense and certified third-party advertising networks to sustain free, open-access development without requiring user paywalls or subscription tiers.
